Why I Started #AskCoachMase
My #AskCoachMase video series is a Q&A show for basketball players. Players of all ages send in questions and I do my best to answer them.
My primary goal in this video series is to give basketball players tools to get better: tips, drills, plays, concepts, motivation, film breakdowns, and more. If I can share some life lessons, even better!
When I was player, I worked extremely hard. I was the only player in my program to be a 5:30 or 6 am workout kind of guy with practice after school. Despite my work ethic, I didn't know all the details and mechanics that go into the game. I had a good feel for the game but an average IQ. My #AskCoachMase series is a resource for players like I was; hard working, self-driven, and who have a deep hunger and love for the game.
This video series is also a resource for coaches. Your kids, no matter there age, are online or on social media constantly. I figured I might as well put up some content that will help these kids get better, learn, and grow, as opposed to just consuming all the nonsense we all see on social media. If you're a coach, my goal is to help your players through this series. Any basketball junkie kids should love these videos.
If you're a coach who wants to make a big impact on kids, you have to be on social media. And that's my primary goal in this video series. If you've read this far, thanks! I really appreciate you reading and hope you get a chance to check out the #AskCoachMase series and even share it with some of your players.
If you think negatively, all I do is ask for you to just see what it's about :)
